Springport Branch
The Springport Library was an outgrowth of the Bayview Reading Circle. Twelve women organized a library in 1901 consisting of 36 volumes. The library was in the old township building for many years as part of the Jackson County system.
In 1981, the District Library serviced the area with the bookmobile and in December the current facility was opened.
