Henrietta Branch

The Henrietta branch started in 1982 as part of the Jackson District Library. The library was to serve the residents of the northeast quadrant of the county and replace the bookmobile that had been inherited from the Jackson Public Library. Henrietta Township donated the land and a modular classroom was moved onto the site.

In 2000, a generous donation from Henrietta township resident Lucille Jenkins-Dodge made it possible for a building addition doubling the size of the library branch. From 2024-2025, two separate projects to update the building's exterior and interior were conducted. The updated branch re-opened to the public in late 2025.
