Library Card Sign-Up Month

Be sure to tell your friends and family: September is Library Card Sign-Up Month at the Jackson District Library!

Sign up for a library card or get someone you know to sign up for a card to receive a handful of promotions and discounts from local businesses like free car washes, free desserts, and more.

Since 1987, Library Card Sign-up Month has been held each September to mark the beginning of the school year. During the month, JDL along with libraries across the country unite in a national effort to ensure every child signs up for their own library card. This year, sign up for a card or refer someone else to sign up to receive a bookmark with a list of promotions and the businesses offering them.
