If you have found an item in the online catalog that you want, you can reserve it by clicking the “Place Hold” button. Placing a hold is library speak for telling library staff to set aside an item under your name until a more convenient time pick it up at the library branch of your choice.
Once located in the online catalog, click the “Place Hold” button next to the item in the list. The website will now require you to log in by typing in the 14-digit bar code number that appears on your library card. Type in your PIN number that you received at the time you got your library card (if you do not have one or can not remember your PIN please call the library for assistance) then click the Login button.
You will get a request confirmation page, use the drop down box to pick the library branch you want to pick your material up at then hit the “Request” button. You may now log out of your account or return to searching.
