Get a Library Card Online
Fill out and submit the form below to sign up for a JDL Card available to all Jackson County residents. You will receive an email within 48 hours containing a library card barcode and instructions on how to access JDL materials. You'll have 60 days to provide us with a photo ID to verify your address by visiting one of our 13 locations.

To obtain a library card, you can start by filling out form above. You will eventually have to visit one of the Jackson District Library branches and present one piece of photo identification verifying your name and current address.
A library card is free for all Jackson County residents and $75.00 for non-residents. Non-residents may also purchase a 6-month membership card for $40.00.
The annual fee for a non-resident to maintain a Jackson District Library card is $75.00, or $40.00 for a half year. A single piece of photo identification showing your current name and address is required.
A pin number is a 4-digit number that you select at the time of obtaining a library card. If you do not remember your PIN number we can look it up for you.
Report the card lost immediately. You are responsible for any materials checked out on your card until you have reported it lost or stolen.
A Jackson District Library card is required to check out materials from the Jackson District Library or from the Jackson College Library. It is also required to use most of the online databases on this website.
