Ukulele Jam Session

The Jacktown Ukes meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month and are happy to have others jam with them! If you are a newbie, we will have an extra ukulele on hand. Resources on how to play are provided, however we are not able to provide lessons.

Make Music with JDL and the JSO

Make your own musical instrument during this special program – a partnership between Jackson District Library and the Jackson Symphony Orchestra. As part of the JSO’s “70 Random Acts of Kindness” celebrating their 70th Anniversary, teachers from the Community Music School will help facilitate your creation.

ABC Sisters

Join us for a special Veterans Day performance featuring the ABC Sisters, an Andrew Sisters tribute act! Performing in the Midwest, the ABC Sisters bring the old favorite scat classics home with perfect three-part harmony, 40’s dancing style and sisterly fun, making audiences of all ages laugh, cry, clap and sing along.

This performance will take place at the Hanover-Horton Historical Society’s Heritage Park. Call the Hanover Branch at 517-905-1399 to save your spot.

Live-Ability is an inclusive and accessible program for adults with all abilities. The program will differ each week.
