Livability All Ages Storytime

Join us on the 2nd Saturday of the month for storytime with science and art activities for individuals of all ages with a diagnosis of SXI, CI, ASD, and speech and language impaired.

Wheelchair accessible

Please note, this is not a drop-off program.

Mid-Autumn Mooncakes

Come celebrate the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival and make no-bake mooncakes. These sweet treats are a traditional part of the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations.

All supplies are provided, but space is limited, so please call the Meijer branch at 517-788-4480 to save your spot.

JDL’s Memory Cafe

Share a meal with your loved one affected by Alzheimer’s or dementia in an environment of support, love, and acceptance. All family members are welcome at this event that takes place the 1st Thursday of the month!

These events are wheelchair accessible and trained staff will be on hand to help make this an enjoyable experience for you and your loved one.

Summer Reading Program Kick Off Party

Sign up for the Summer Reading Program, and check out our selection of space-themed games and crafts!

The Michigan Science Center will be on hand to facilitate 10 hands-on interactive stations geared toward learning about solar systems and the cosmos. Participants will use a variety of science and engineering practices to develop a deeper appreciation for space and space exploration.

Light refreshments will be served, including astronaut ice cream!
