Mental Health 101 – Stress and Coping Skills

In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, several branches will be hosting a Lifeways certified mental health instruct for a one-hour class. This presentation will help build an understanding of the importance of early intervention as well as ways to respond to a person experiencing a mental health crisis or challenge.

This program is for adults who would like to learn a little more about using the features on their phone, iPad, or laptop. We will cover how to utilize the download and streaming apps JDL offers and troubleshoot general questions users have about their electronic devices.

Ukulele Jam Session

The Jacktown Ukes meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month and are happy to have others jam with them! If you are a newbie, we will have an extra ukulele on hand. Resources on how to play are provided, however we are not able to provide lessons.

Livability at Eastern Branch

The Eastern Branch will be hosting programs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month for all ages and abilities. The library will provide the supplies for the different crafts, activities, and games.

This program is intended for special needs adults and their caregivers, but all are welcome.
